The photo above is Rip Curls retail outlet in Melbourne. The
stair stringers are 200 x 100 x 6 stainless steel RHS with 80 x 80 x 3 SHS that
has the glass patch fitting fixed to it. The glass has no top rail on the
hand rail and balustrade which makes the area look very open. The hand
rail up the staircase is 31.8 x 31.8 x 1.6 SHS stainless steel tube with patch
fittings to the glass.

The photo above is a hand rail that has used 50.8 diameter stainless steel
tubes as the uprights and top rail. The use of 3.2mm stainless steel wire
as the run opens up the stair case, which is another option to glass. The
uprights in this type of hand rail have semi domed ends and 12mm solid bar
welded to the upright. Uprights to the ends of the hand rail are
reinforced to prevent bending of the tube. Bridco Stainless wire rope
fittings and hardware is used.
